Caribbean and Central America – Numerous visits conducting research on coral reefs in the Bahamas, Bonaire, Florida Keys, and elsewhere.  Speaker and snorkel trip leader for several cruise lines- throughout the Caribbean Islands, Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico.

Southeast Asia and Indo-Pacific – Lived for two years and conducted marine biology research in Palau, Micronesia.  Traveled extensively throughout the islands of Micronesia.  Research field trips and SCUBA diving in Indonesia, New Caledonia, Samoa, Fiji, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Africa, Middle East and Red Sea – Lived 4 ½ years and taught marine science at the American University in Beirut, Lebanon.  Traveled in Turkey, Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Eritrea, Syria, Tunisia, Jordan, Oman, Gulf States.  Many travels since have included diving in the Red Sea and Arabian Gulf.

Western Europe – Extensive travels in UK, Germany, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, and elsewhere.

Black Sea – Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, and Bulgaria

Mediterranean – Have sailed own boat to Cyprus, Greece and coast of Turkey, exploring ancient ruins and SCUBA diving.  Toured Albania, Crete, many Greek Islands, Istanbul, Tunisia, France, Spain, and Italy.

Pacific Coast of North America – Have lived in this region most of my life.  Familiar with marine life and habitats of the Pacific Coast.  Have lectured on many cruises from Mexico to Alaska.

Hawaii – Many visits and marine research projects.  SCUBA diving at numerous sites.
